CROM: Portrait of a God

Here's what's on the table today. Just started laying down the darks and deciding on a BG color.

Could still go either way at this point-- I might be able to save it, or it's going in the dumpster...

We'll see tomorrow.

Low & Slow at Mesa Contemporary Arts

GREAT SHOW.

On Thursday, we went to the opening reception for the Low & Slow / Beneath the Skin gallery show at Mesa Arts. It was all about the awesome. Before viewing the artwork, there was a "conversation" and Q & A with Estevan Oriol, Mister Cartoon, and Jack Rudy.

Interesting, inspiring, and funny anecdotes of how they got to be where they are now. (Their sites in my link list) Also showing were Shawn Barber and Ed Hardy.

Thanks again to Zach for the tickets!

Rockmada

Here are some quick snaps of the Rockford Armada show truck that I designed the paint scheme for. (A.D. Zach Luke)

The kick ass team at Drew Brothers Customs painted the vehicle. Can't see 'em in these crap photos, but there are RF logos ghosted in the black stripe coming off the headlight and it's outlined in hand-laid silver leaf. This project turned out really cool.

And for an example of truly kick ass photography, click the pic of the bike to see some of the shots Drew Anderson took of the Nightster. I dubbed the photo shoot, "Once Upon A Time In Mexico."
